Shelley Kemper

Shelley has been with Fulcrum Wealth Advisors since its inception, and her entire career has been in marketing.

She believes the biggest misconception about marketing is that focus should be placed on a company or a product. Instead, she – and the whole team at Fulcrum Wealth Advisors – chooses to keep the focus on clients. By understanding each client’s needs, building authentic relationships, and spending time together, she and the team aim to build lasting relationships for years to come. They believe this approach is by far the most successful form of marketing.

To make good on this commitment, Shelley’s role as Director of Marketing and Management requires:

• Managing marketing materials for the firm
• Organizing and overseeing client events
• Supporting financial advisors with client reviews and relationship opportunities
• Managing payroll for the firm
• Performing general office duties
• Fulfilling client service requests

After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with majors in marketing and management, Shelley joined a startup company, Law & Garden Corp. There, she launched a new division of equipment for women, developed marketing materials and product packaging, and directed and attended various trade shows both domestically and internationally.

After Lawn & Garden, Shelley went into the digital and print industry as a Marketing Coordinator for United American Video and Production Analyst for Hearst Corporation.

She continues to work part-time as Production Coordinator for Home Design & Décor Magazine, a regional publication in two North Carolina markets: Charlotte and The Triangle. She coordinates with advertisers during the production stage of the magazine and manages the company’s billing.
