Do you know what the average life span is of a fruit fly? Our guess was 24 hours, but a fruit fly can actually live for 40-50 days. We tell you this because none of us want to live just 40-50 days. The timeline for your financial goals is probably also significantly longer than that as well. If our lives were wrapped up in that short of a time frame, we would do a lot of things differently wouldn’t we? Yet, it seems pundits and the markets are telling us lately that our lives will be determined by what has happened over the last couple of weeks? But, you are not a fruit fly!
